OUR HISTORY
The story of Paint Me Perfectly Pink (PMPP) began in 2014, born from love, compassion, and sisterhood.
Founder, Tamiko Williams, a hairstylist and salon owner, formed a special bond with a client who courageously battled breast cancer for six years. Over time, that client became Iike a big sister - her strength, grace and unshakeable spirit left a deep impression on Tamiko's heart.
One day, Tamiko asked,"Why do you keep coming into this hectic salon?" She offered to visit her client's home or arrange private appointments. Her client looked into her eyes and said, "This is the only thing that makes me feel beautiful."
That moment became the spark for something greater- a calling to honor and uplift women fighting breast cancer.
From there, Paint Me Perfectly Pink was born, inspired by the mission to "paint one champion pink." Watching her client's journey, Tamiko embraced the mantra: "I am a Fighter. I am a Champion."
Along side her salon team. Tamiko hosted fashion shows, offering free hair, makeup, and clothing to survivors. She opened her home for support groups, shared stories of hope, organized outings, and provided outreach and financial assistance. From galas and boat cruises to empowerment balls, PMPP created safe, joyful spaces for women to celebrate life and sisterhood.
Between 2015 and 2019, PMPP held monthly outreach programs, in-person and virtual meetings, and regular wellness check-ins- building a strong and supportive community. After a pause between 2020 and 2023, PMPP proudly returned in 2024 as an official nonprofit organization, reigniting its purpose with even greater passion.
At Paint Me Perfectly Pink, we are built on sisterhood, compassion, and resilience- because every fighter is a CHAMPION.
WHY WE EXIST
Paint Me Perfectly Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation exists to honor, uplift, and support women affected by breast cancer - and to stand beside the families impacted by loss. We are dedicated to celebrating strength, restoring hope, and ensuring every Survivor we call a Champion feels valued, seen, and empowered.

A world where every person touched by breast cancer feels supported, celebrated, and emotionally restored- with access to love-driven care, compassionate community, and empowerment for the mind, body, and soul.

To provide transformative outreach, pampering experiences, wellness support, and community engagement that uplifts spirits, rebuilds confidence, and encouragement for breast cancer CHAMPIONS and their families.
